Heating Services Schebler Provides
Furnace Repair
Whether your furnace is short cycling, producing cold air, or making loud noises, our HVAC service technicians will take care of any issues it might be experiencing. We’ll perform a complete furnace inspection to determine the root of the issue and ensure that we have your furnace repaired as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Furnace Installation
We offer top-of-the-line Infinity Series gas furnace installation to residents of the Quad Cities area. These models provide controlled comfort to your space while remaining energy efficient. A new furnace installation will help to keep you warm, while also providing lower energy costs. If you’re looking to upgrade to a new unit, we can help.
Furnace Tune-Up
A tune-up helps your furnace work efficiently from the start of winter until the end. With furnace maintenance, we’ll fix any minor issues before they can grow and become more serious down the road.
Boilers
Our experts will recommend the best gas- or oil-fired boiler system for you based on your fuel consumption needs. Our Carrier Performance Series meets Energy Star specifications for maximum efficiency. We’ll help you get the new equipment you need to stay warm all winter long.
Geothermal Heat Pumps
This up-and-coming technology will outlast other methods while reducing your home’s carbon footprint. A geothermal heat pump will save you hundreds of dollars more than a traditional heating and air conditioning system.
Heat Pumps
We offer homeowners in the Quad Cities and the surrounding areas with a full line of Carrier heat pump units. Our heat pump offerings include:
- The Comfort Series uses a single-stage scroll compressor and performs excellently in cold weather. Although not as efficient as the other Comfort Series models, the highest of the three heat pumps has a 15 SEER rating and an 8.5 HSPF rating, making it Energy Star qualified.
- The most efficient model in the Performance Series has a 16 SEER rating and runs on a two-stage scroll compressor. It’s Energy Star qualified. The 14 and 15 units use a single-stage compressor.
- The Infinity Series’ 16 runs on a single-speed compressor. All of the Infinity models are Energy Star qualified. Specific sizes of the Infinity 18VS heat pump use a variable-speed compressor and have the highest efficiency ratings at 18 SEER and 11 HSPF. It’s also about 10 decibels quieter than the other two units in this series.
- The Infinity 20 Heat Pump with Greenspeed Intelligence is the top-of-the-line model that Carrier offers. All sizes are Energy Star qualified, as they have fantastic 20.5 SEER and 13 HSPF ratings.
Commercial HVAC Systems
Commercial HVAC is just as important to us as residential HVAC services. We have the products and experience to ensure your commercial heating, cooling and ventilation demands are met. We can repair, tune-up, or replace your commercial HVAC unit.
Signs Your Heating System Needs Service
Strange Smells
A burning smell emanating from the HVAC system can be as normal as settled dust burns during the first use. However, prolonged instances of burning smells can indicate that more serious issues are at hand. If the smell persists after several days, contact an HVAC company to inspect the unit for issues.
Unusual Noises
Noises can be caused by a leak, broken part, or clogged or dirty air filters. Different noises can indicate a specific problem, but it’s best to give an HVAC technician a phone call to diagnose the issue.
Short Cycling
Short cycling occurs when your furnace starts a cycle and shuts off a short time later before reaching the set temperature. Short cycling is typically caused by low airflow from a dirty air filter, a faulty thermostat or a corroded or dirty flame sensor.
Rising Energy Bills
Any of the issues above can be a cause for rising monthly energy costs. Schedule an appointment to have your furnace checked out by one of our technicians to lower your bills.
Uneven Heating
A blocked or dirty filter or vent will make it difficult for sufficient air to move through the system. Duct leaks can also prevent conditioned air from traveling to its destination.
Poor Indoor Air Quality
Furnaces that short cycle or cause uneven heating can produce poor air quality. A clogged filter can release extra carbon dioxide and other particles back into the air.
