The Davenport School District selected Schebler Heating and Air to be the prime contractor for the Williams Intermediate School kitchen air conditioning project. The project consisted of installing a packaged rooftop mounted heating and cooling unit, exterior insulated ductwork, electrical, gas piping and a new ceiling in the kitchen and serving area. The rooftop unit provides 100% conditioned outside air when the kitchen hood is operating and then switches over to return air to maintain space temperature when the kitchen hood is not in use. This project started on July 1 and was operational on August 10. Completed on time and on budget.
